I ran across this new video that Piranha Bytes released yesterday stating the Risen 2 Pirate Creed, and I found it so entertaining on a slow news day that I thought I would share it with all of you! It was posted on IGN's Youtube channel.
#1 : On his own ship, a captains word is law
As most of you know, pirate captains only had any real authority during battle. This statement in it's self shows just how pathetic Piranha Bytes "research" into pirates was, sounds like they just watched Disney movies ...which would explain the kraken and voodoo, among other things!
#2 : He who finds it can keep it.
Not if someone else takes it from you!
#3 : Never shy away from a good fight
Well hey how about that, they got one right anyway!
#4 : The means justifies the ends.
Apparently this one applies to video game development and distribution as well!
#5 : A deal is a deal.

#7 : Both parties have to agree to a duel in their own harbor.
Wtf happened to #6?
#8 : Whoever breaks the "creed" must suffer death or dishonor.
Apparently the "creed" is a bit different than the "code" and gives you a way out through dishonor ...
