first, Voodoo magic!
all of these things came up at the piratehideout, most of these things my own. the idea is that you would turn into a skeleton if you had an aztec coin or if you had all the skulls. or maybe if you had both?
second:
It could be handy if you could drop an anchor to immediatly stop your ship so you don't drift on after striking you sails. It wouldn't have to be visual, just functional. you could also use this to lay still in a storm to gather xp for instance. the reason i'm suggesting this is because when i had a manowar and i striked all sails,(at the assault of greenford, modded)
i noticed only just in time that i was slowly drifting towards the cliff face. i managed to steer out of it's way, but i just missed the rocks with my bowsprit by a few centimeters
i think i know which buttons to use. just use the strike sail button to drop the anchor when you are heaving to drift, and press the make sail button to hoist it.
third:
i have the POTC music modpack, and i have a few songs that could be added. these are still the same in-game,
but i know of some POTC replacements to make it full
POTC. i don't know how to upload these files on the site however, and they are at least 1MB large each.
for the tavern: the music playing in the tortuga tavern, and a pirates life for me.
for the jungle: the music playing on the cannibals island.(i have two, but one of them has a really silly ending, maybe i'll put it up here as well if i can.
for the storms: the song playing during the battle against the kraken! may seem innapropriate, but it fits really well!
if it's easier to just look them up for yourselves, their names are:
two hornpipes(with or without capitals, i don't know)
yo-ho, yo-ho(obvious)
the kraken
jack sparrow, dead man's cheast( there are two jack sparrow songs, one from the first, and one from the second movie. you need the second)
i found them with the limewire search engine. it DOES matter how you spell it. for instance:
Pirates of the Caribbean
Pirates of the Carribean
pirates of the caribbean, etc.
searching again under exactly the same name gives different results every time, and sometimes a link doesn't work. in those cases, look for a file that has the same name, but doesn't show that it was interrupted or something. it means that it is a different file.
what do you think?
