MODS AND HELP ASSISTANCE PLEASE!

Dear All,

My name is George,30,Greek,and i love warships of anykind and any age.specially pirate ones!
Please i m newbie,and i want your help please!
i m interesting in mods,for this perfect game.so far i have seen and succesfully enjoy only the super mod.
1)are there other mods like this?
2)if yes,where can i download them?they are in this site?
3)i have seen i russian mod,available form rapidshare.de.is this mod still available?

any help that anyone could give me i would feel oblicated.

George: Currently the only available mod for AOP is the SuperMod. Cyberops has been busy with his home being worked on, so hasn't been around as much as he'd like. But he is expanding and continuing to work on this mod. New additions and updates can be expected hopefully around the end of the year at the latest.

There are also many modders working on things for this game. I myself am working on a ton of entirely newly modelled ships, towns, islands and more. Thomas the Terror is one of our communities top texture artists. Red Jack has been updating the conversation files, changing some of the audio files around and doing little mods like adding/increasing the frequency of the animals that show up in the game.

There are others who just don't say much, but they are working on things for this great, though bug ridden game.

Almost all of these mods mentioned are already available on the FTP or the modders site, or if they aren't yet available(like mine **grimaces**). They will be when the mods are in a working, usable state.

Please dont take it bad,but i heard and saw some screenshots of the russian mod name k-something.what has happened to this?i saw earlier a topic related with this mod that looked awesome but didnt realise what is going on now.so,are you aware of this mod at any way(have you heard or see)?

Yes, Korsairs III - Sea Legend is Returned is the Russian mod for Age of Pirates.

Korsairs III is the russian name for the game, and the SliB team is who is working on that mod.

Our site here revolves around sailing games in general and pirate games in particular. We've got a pretty active group of modders working on things for Age of Pirates here in these forums, as well as a huge and VERY active group of modders(myself included) doing things for the previous game, Pirates of the Caribbean.

So you have a better understanding of the game series, Akella made the games in the following order and I will give English - Russian - Original working title(if I know them):

Seadogs - Korsairs - Korsairs
This game was the original that Akella made and is still considered by many fans of the genre to be the best in the series the way it was released.

Pirates of the Caribbean - (Not sure what the Russian name would be) - Seadogs II/Korsairs II
Originally intended to be the sequel to Seadogs, this game was getting near completion when Disney decided they required a tie-in game to the about to be released Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Disney purchased rights to the game and published through Bethesda Softworks after modifying a number of things to tie it more closely to the movie. Still has an active and highly enjoyable english and russian set of modding communities.

Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tales - Korsairs III - Seadogs III/Korsairs III
The title that is the latest in the series. Potentially classic gaming material if only Akella would get off thier duffs and fix the issues and add much of the material they removed from the game. A solid release of updated modding tools and possibly the source code to the general modding community as they have done for the SLiB team would go a long ways towards mending raw feelings among the gaming and modding communities over this fiasco of a release.

The modding team working on the Korsairs III mod is still in development, but there is no certainty it will be released outside of Russia currently.

I'll do my best to keep you updated as I find things like this out!

Guys I found the solution to the problem Audio Bug!!!!!!
Download this file and Replace it in the directory of the game! feel no those annoying interference!

The better version is fmodex 0.4.20.6. It is stable under Windows XP, Windows7, Windows 8. It has been tested by our team.
