Over at Joystiq, they have an exclusive reveal of the first of three pirate ship classes in InnoGames upcoming browser MMO Kartuga. According to Joystiq, the Destroyer class vessel will be an agile, all purpose ship that relies on speed and maneuverability while dealing out massive amounts of damage. The Destroyer class can be further customized between three different specializations; Raider, Ravager or Brawler. Raiders specialize in hit and run tactics, Brawlers have a tougher armor and are designed for close in combat, while Ravagers have a longer ranged attack.
There will apparently be other unique specializations for the other two pirate ship classes as well as factions other than pirates, though I still haven't seen anything official on any of those yet. Last week I also posted an article about InnoGames Kartuga Alpha Challenge, and I just ran across a video on Youtube about the event held back in November that shows footage of the event and gives quite a few more details, interviews some of the contestants, and reveals the final 3 winners!
