[HELP] Runtime Starting Error

Having a Run Start Error Crash. I just downloaded the new 1.1.2 and Joe's new flags, moved them into the root of
my COAS programs and now when i start the game it crashes right after the initial startup of the ship in the storm
scene. I was just playing the game fine before downloading the new programs, I am unable to find the programs
that have been incorporated into the game to remove them.
My system is an HP pentium 4. I have windows XP. the error that comes up reads...........................

I'd hate to have to uninstall and then have to reload everything. any ideas?

My advise is to do a fresh install.

1) Copy the "SAVE" folder somewhere (so you keep your saves).

2) Uninstall COAS.

3) Install it again outside "Program Files" (say, in C:\COAS).

4) Move the old SAVE folder into your new root folder.

5) Install GOF 1.0 and GOF 1.1. Try the game.

6) Install GOF 1.1.1 and 1.1.2. Try the game.

7) Install Joe's flags.
