Game gets stuck when I die

Hey there, so far I am enjoying this mod tremendously!! Good job, everyone!!

I have one question though: I wanted to keep living after I was "killed", so I used the "survival" preference and I put there a value of 1, to always survive after being struck down.

Now, if I die 1 time, the game takes me to a tavern, and everything is OK.

However, If I die a 2nd time, then the game gets stuck in the place I died, and people stop moving, they only stand still and breath. I can't press any buttons at all, no F1, F2, nothing. I can only use hotkeys to use potions and bandages. The only option is to CTRL ALT DEL in order to shut down the game.

Pressing F12 to force loading didn't help. The game stands still and it doesn't resurrect me.

Any thoughts on that? Is it a bug?

Which modpack version are you running?
And does this happen always or only on version areas?

We've had a bug like this before, but that one was fixed years ago.

Yes Pieter, you are right.

This happens only on the new areas. It didn't happen in Bridgetown for example, and I died 5 times to check.

I downloaded this mod: Build 14 Full Part 1: Installation Wizard file - Pirates of the Caribbean: New Horizons mod for Pirates of the Caribbean

I also installed the Post fixes that you have on your signature, Pieter. When I am in the Main Menu, the version on the lower left says: Build 14, (22 December 2017)

Is it not right?

If I recall, it might then be location-related.
Could you make a list of locations where it doesn't work?
Console can help to give the exact location ID.
Maybe @Grey Roger or @Jack Rackham have time to explain how that works?

In console.c if the switch early in the file is set to 2 like

switch(2)

it gives you the location ID (and the coordinates) when pressing F12.
