Need Help Esc - Inventory - settings wont work please help.

So ive instaled POTC along with the all dll,s fixed the engine.exe crash but now i have a new problem that i cannot fix..
The game runs perfectly exept when i start to play the esc button or the inventory button wont work and i cannot even change them in settings...
As u can see in the pic ive uploaded they cannot be clicked.
can anyone please help me?
I have Dell Inspirion 15 / 3000 series
Intel Core i-7 5500U CPU @ 2,40 GHz
8gb Ram
64bit Operating system
Windows 7 Ultimate

What version of the game are you using - that interface looks very old?

With the build mod 13 as in the picture
ive tried the normal version and with the build mod but still i cannot use esc inventory or change the controls...

Yup again the same [...] but still i cannot change the controls on f1 and f2 they are still grey.

I fixed itttt the answer was in this forum all along ^_^ it was kinda hard to do it..

Editing this line in the init_pc file worked for me:
CI_CreateAndSetControls( "Sailing1Pers", "Interface", CI_GetKeyCode("VK_F2"), 1, true );

Originally it ended 0, false );

Then I reassigned the key in game.
