Can you post "system.log" and "error.log"? Those should contain a clue as to why the game crashed.

can't load file: sea_ai\walk\Brig_20_Gun1_18_walk.c

That file is included in the 31st August installer. The link for that installer is in the first post of this thread. You must install the Build Mod with that, not with any earlier version, if you are to use the post 31st August fixes collection.
