Cities Skylines is one of the best citie builders I have played in quite some time, I highly recommend it! If you have not played this awesome game yet, now is your chance! Collosal Order and Paradox Interactive have just released the latest DLC for Cities Skylines, which adds snow and other weather effects, plus trams and snowplows to the game!

The modding community that has sprung up around this game on steam is also quite impressive! They have added a ton of real world assets and mods to the game that make it even that much more impressive! Right now, the game is free to play for the weekend! And it is currently 60% off on Steam, which more than offsets the cost of both DLC's, if you buy the Deluxe version. The Snowfall expansion by it's self is also on sale. The Free to play and sale only last till Monday 2-22-16

To celebrate the release of Cities: Skylines - Snowfall, play Cities: Skylines for FREE starting now through Sunday at 1PM Pacific Time. You can also pickup Cities: Skylines at 60% off the regular price!*

If you already have Steam installed, click here to install or play Cities: Skylines. If you don't have Steam, you can download it here.

Snowfall Now Blanketing Cities: Skylines

Newest Expansion to Award-winning City-builder Now Available Worldwide

STOCKHOLM - Feb. 18, 2016 — Paradox Interactive, a unique snowflake among publishers, today announced that the newest expansion to Cities: Skylines is now available for aspiring mayor-players everywhere. “Snowfall,” which was released today for players of Cities: Skylines, adds a flurry of weather-related features to the game, along with new transportation options and several new winter attractions to help citizens chill out. A new free patch has also released today, including a new map Theme Editor to allow modders to alter the very fabric of in-game reality. Snowfall is available today on Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs for $12.99.

Build your anticipation of precipitation with this trailer presentation.

In Snowfall, the difficulty heats up when the city cools down, thanks to a new in-game temperature reading that will have residents bundling up for warmth when the weather outside is frightful. Cosmetic weather, including rain and fog, has been added to Cities: Skylines as part of a free update. Players who own Snowfall will get to face new challenges such as ensuring that their city infrastructure can handle seasonal heating demands – and, when the snow starts falling, that the roads can stay clear. New snowplow services will be required to prevent traffic from freezing in place, while new all-weather trams and expanded public transit options can help residents and visitors alike get around town – and visit the new winter parks and landmarks available in Snowfall. A detailed list of features included both in Snowfall and in the free patch is available here: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads%2Fsnowfall-patch-notes-1-3-0-release-information.908934%2F
