Change Flag in POTC

How to add new flags in the game? Such as that of the East India Company?

You want the flag of the East India Trading Company? Lucky for you, I have that flag already ingame.
I have put it on the ftp. in Thomas the Terror files (flagall.tga.tx) put this in your Resource/Textures map.

Are there any other flags to choose from besides the ones already in-game?

There's as many flags to choose from as you can make. There's dozens of them on the FTP, for example. Eventually we'll have a Choose Flag mod; Pirate_KK's been working on it for quite a while. I tried making a custom flag, but when I edit the flagall.tga, I can't bring it up the the tx converter to change it back into a .tx. I can see the file, but the icon is kinda crossed out, and it tells me it cant open it.

How did you save the file? What program?

i saved the file as flagall.tga in the same directory it came from
i think. RESOURCE/Textures. on top of the original in tga form, but it won't let me convert it to a .tga.tx
I used GIMP

Did you save it as TGA file? I recall at one point at had the same problem, but then I had to change some of the "save to TGA" settings of the program I was using at the time. I never used GIMP though.

If that hasn't worked (I had the same problem) load the image in another program (I used ACDsee) and save it. It should now work. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
