In 1671, Henry Morgan and his pirate armada raided and sacked Panama City, most of you are already aware of that and there is a whole lot more to the story than I have time to post here now, but I ran across this story and thought I would share it. Over on Popular Mechanics web page, they have posted a new story on the recent excavations going on in Panama looking for Morgans lost ships, it's quite an interesting read. There is also a video with a short interview with Fredrick "fritz" H. Hanselmann, leader of a team of archeologists from Texas State University's River Systems Institute, and some underwater footage of the wreck site.
