Need Help Can someone help me fix this bug?

It used to work, I don't know what I have messed up cause I haven't touched the Program folder. When I board the pirate ship for the Captive groom quest (or any other similar quest), the game does not take me to the Captain's cabin to fight and kill the captain (a short dialog happens there which is essential to do this quest right), but in my case it just skips to sacking the ship... I tried looking for the related code in Program folder, but I don't know which one.
