Build 13 Bug or Feature?

Hi, just installed the build 13 and updates. Now, every working fine until I leave Oxbay.
(Minor Spoiler lol)
The intro is to late. So I get pretty much blasted right away.
With my ship dead appearently I manage to survive in a little tiny boat, and now the intro plays.
So, I start a new game, leave at once (not going ashore) and BOOM the storm video and then i find my self ashore. Go back to my ship and all is normal...

I don't know if it's a bug, or has the Build mods really changed that much, including story? if so is there like a walktrough of things that are supposed to happen if I ever get in doubt?

plz help!

Aha - just realized that the Stormy Start is actually a mod, still leaves me with the intro problem...

Before leave Oxbay you must raise a flag neutral with French (eg Portoguese flag) so the fort will not shot on you.

Ah yes thx that helped... Just dosent remember it being late first time I played it...

The intro is intentionally late. It has to do with the stormy start, when you start the game on some other island. The intro is scheduled to only play when you _leave_ oxbay for the first time.
