Boarding Bug

I just installed all the latest build updates from Pieter's page. Whenever I board a ship, I can never continue on after fighting and killing the crew. I'm simply stuck in boarding mode with no "unlock" icon anywhere and no way to continue to the plunder screen. Is this a known bug? It happens almost 80% of the time I try and board ships. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" /> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/modding.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":modding" border="0" alt="modding.gif" />
 
Do try all the keys, especially the space bar, before you give up. There are some bugs with the boarding, but note that the "unlock" icon is not necessary. You should be able to continue even without the icon.

If you have a real bug, collect all the information you can - version, ship types and crew numbers, whatever. The guys who actually can fix this stuff need details.
 
This is a known bug that will be fixed later today, if everything works out. I noticed that bug myself before I released the modpack update, but I wanted to be sure it wasn't because of my version of the game or because of my computer.

Huzzah indeed, that bug had me screaming so loud my missus jumped out of her skin on one occasion. My fault really, for not saving more often than I do. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/whistling.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wp" border="0" alt="whistling.gif" />
 
pieter did you fix the boarding bug through an update? the one that dosent allow you to continue boarding?
if so could you give me a link to it because the link you have in your signature says Aug 5 but when i go to download it it says Aug 8 and i dont really know what to make of it

just download what the link points to, I have and it seems to have sorted the problem out nicely <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

will that link fix the bad boarding bug i had where i couldnt continue boarding?
 
It should, yes, but apparently there are still some crazy bugs left. Don't know why. They'll be fixed eventually.
