No time here, I'm afraid.
Since the title of this thread refers to my old SeaDogs guide, that can be found at GameFAQs now.
Since the GOG release of SeaDogs, I've gotten many requests for the mods. Much easier to upload them to the cloud than resurrect my old site. You can find them here:
Cloud Home For the SeaDogs Mods
The last two versions of the mods are there:
Version 1.11, released in May 2003, 29 mods total, 10K+ downloads. Pretty stable.
Version 1.12, released in August 2004, 31 mods total (+ many improvements to the 29 mods from Ver 1.11), about 1K downloads. If too many of the big campaigns in this version are installed at the same time, the game can "overload" at around 40 hours and quests will stop updating (click the Help button on the Master Status Screen of the Installer for tips on which mods to combine to avoid this problem).
P.S. One of the old mods, Orzel's "no-sailing-against-the-wind" mod, was hard-coded by him with a check for the original game CD. Since the GOG release is an online download, if you email a copy of your GOG receipt to me at firstname.lastname@example.org, I'll send you back the single file that you need to copy into the game to get this one to work (this should preserve the spirit in which the mod was copy-protected).
Enjoy your return to the Archipelago!
Thanks for reuploading the the stuff Hose, and posting here & @ GOG. Back to the 'pelago after so many years!
