    Hi all,

I'm using the 3D files of HMS Surprise taken from the New Horizons assets, modelled by the now sadly inactive @pgargon, as well as the WIP HoO HMS Bellona very kindly lent to me by @Armada, as a basis for an experimental build log over at the NRG Model Ship World forum. I'm posting it here in case any interested parties want to take a look.

    Best wishes,
    Haereticus

This is a very cool project, and I can't wait to see some photos of the parts you've printed so far. :keith

It's a shame you ended up with broken geometry on the Surprise because of GM Viewer's dodgy exporter. Hopefully that has only broken smaller parts that wouldn't be worth printing, anyway.

Yeah, the broken geometry wasn't a big deal - the main problem was that separating it into millions of objects slowed down Wings3D so much!
