Any thing for a Photoshop Guy

Wow, i really started something here didn't I? So I have to ask, what else needs done? We seem to have the Loading, Splash, and Menu images down (Unless someone finds better ones), and I submitted buttons and a banner for ModDB. So what's left for this humble photoshop guy.

Any thing for a Photoshop Guy

Here's a banner I started on before I knew it was to be called "New Horizons". So I was still coming up with a Build Logo. <img src="http://i321.photobucket.com/albums/nn364/captarbie/banner_fixed.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" />

I also wanted to ask if you'd like the modDb banner to be the same theme as the news and Download buttons I made? The black background with a gold Jolly Roger.

Any thing for a Photoshop Guy

It's funny you should say that. Because here's another one. No work involved really. Just enlarging and placing the image. <img src="http://i321.photobucket.com/albums/nn364/captarbie/screenshot2.jpg" border="0" class="linked-image" /> Figure this would be good for your "Blue Interface".

Any thing for a Photoshop Guy

I would like to point out that the current menu screen does have text on it, primarily to fill empty space which was why I used it. I guess I thought that the build title seemed so small down there in the corner. I wanted there to be no doubt what the player was playing when he started the...

I understand. I'm such a sucker for handwritten script fonts. I could find a thicker one for future use, or would you like me to use the official PotC font from the films for future work?

Any thing for a Photoshop Guy

Here's a screenshot with a potential new menu screen. I like the idea of using paintings rather than photos...it adds and old world feel. And yes, I know I used a painting that features a steam supported sail ship. If it bothers you, I can remove it. I didn't notice the smokestack until...

There, image fixed. The text is now readable. You were right, the red outline looked good on my creen, but didn't make the text pop out. Gold outline is much better. Of course, gold makes everything better.

Thanks Pieter, I got it to work on mine. So what do you guys think of it? I'm gonna come up with a ModDb banner tonight.

I like those Bava. They have a lot of potential. Pieter, if you could provide me with the dimensions for the banners and splash screens and such, I could start putting some stuff together

Well I made the logo up there so feel free to use it. And yes, if you guys gave some idea about what you'd like for the splash screen and the menu background, I'm sure I could oblige.
