    If you don't mind me asking...do you have a legit copy of the game? If not I suggest you purchase one the one you may have acquired might be corrupt. BTW Vista has been known to mess up quite a lot of games, you can try Pieter said it seems when you install the mod it's missing certain files.

    Hey I have another topic in the wrong forum sorry >.<;; Anyway, The question is how do I quick sail to ports...or for that matter how do I sail to ports at all! I just left the starting port and now Im randomly sailing...so how do I nav to another port?!?

    I fixed it, I can see the movies AND play. FFDSHOW actually interferes with ALOT of games, I had to simply add the POTC EXE to the exception list so when the movies play they dont use FFDSHOW, Hence stopping the crashing!
