Need Help Things to do.

Armando Salazar

Powder Monkey
Ahoy old seadogs. :ahoy

I come to you all now seeking for things to do. I read everything on the forums and just see everyone so full of life and things to do. Sadly I can never get too much taste for this even tho I really love the game. I gain interest sometimes and then it just slowly goes down again.
My question for everyone here is: What is there to do?
Usually I start a new game and start to build up my character, I sail around and pillage ships and the likes. Eventually just sailing around and pillaging ships gets boring, with no story to follow. I try to explore most towns and areas and do some of the PotC specific questlines like killing Blackbeard or finding Isla Muerte.
I'm back now with some new enthusiasm and I really wish to get into it. Perhaps together we could create sort of a bucketlist in PotC since everyone has alot of different fun memories from this old game. Any help would be gladly appriciated, thanks guys.

Yours truly, Armando Salazar, the Pirate Hunter. :walkplank

Ahoy there @Armando Salazar!

There are plenty of storylines you could play. For starters, Tales of a Sea Hawk, but based on your username, you might also appreciate Hoist the Colours (where you play as Jack Sparrow).

You can also have a look through our Wiki for some inspiration on stuff to do:

The answer to that one is, pick a storyline. ;) If you're determined to play only PoTC specific parts of the game then the "Hoist The Colours" storyline is the one for you.

Beyond that, all I can suggest is: don't limit yourself to just the film-related parts. You're missing out on a lot of fun! Even if it's just to take a break from the usual routine, try something different.

I already played "Hoist The Colours" and I tried the "Tales of a Sea Hawk" but I think I got bugged somewhere and stopped since I had forgotten to save. Any other storyline maybe suitable for the "normal pirate"?

@Grey Roger's own Ardent storyline might fit the bill if you want something piratey!

Alternatively, @Jack Rackham's Woodes Rogers is also very piratey with a unique puzzle-based approach.
There is some fantasy there and some famous historical characters too.

@Bartolomeu o Portugues' Bartolomeu and Assassin storylines are options as well; these contain the occasional fantasy elements and PotC film Easter Eggs.

Or, if you want something REALLY different for a change, try joining the navy with the Hornblower one.
