Cannot Confirm Assassin storyline Nicholas Buchter won't talk to me.

Hello. I installed the newest version of the mod. zero problems so far, no ctd except Butcher won't talk to me when i go to the village (Roche brasiliano's) what can i do? i anchored in the bay because the fort would attacked me. thanks

In the compile.log i see this:
Actor error: character <Nicholas Butcher> now is not actor, his have type <>

Edit 2: Now original error again happened. He does not talk with me :s

Edit: so i reloaded a save in sea and now it worked that dialog but now when i exit the house with the hostage nothing happens!, reloading again....:

Try putting this into "PROGRAM\Storyline\Assassin\quests". Then reload a savegame from before before you went to the village, preferably also before you talked to the tavern keeper in Willemstad, Curacao.

I don't remember transfering between ships or something like that no.
I reloaded a save when i was at sea with your file and the same glitch he won't talk to me.
Although in compile.log there is no more that 'is not an actor' error.
Also he won't attack anybody in a fight that is normal?
I would like to finish this storyline :modding

Can you upload that savegame at sea? Then I can try to figure out what is going wrong.
 
Sometimes this dialog works but when i exit the house with the envoy nothing happens and i get a lot of errors in compile.log
 
I was able to advance! after many tries. I have no clue why it gave errors so many times.
One thing i did was get rid of my accompaining officers before entering thr village.
This person had the same problem;

I also do not know why you got the errors, because I loaded your savegame, went to Willemstad, talked to the tavern keeper, then found my way to the village and Nicholas Butcher said his piece.

As you can see, both officers were still there. The only minor problems I had were nothing to do with the dialog. In particular, your game settings seem to be different from mine; I've left it set to require gunpowder both at sea and for characters, so when I loaded your game, the ship and the officers had no ammo.

You may need to keep Chico Cois as an officer as he is important to the storyline. I'm not sure whether the game forces him back into your company when he is needed, so take no chances, put him back in your party.
 
Yes i'm playing with various options changed sometimes the dialog works but then when i exit the house with the envoy nothing happened as i posted before that worked after many tries thank you.
