But how can I make the immortality of the zalazar be turned off by the trident?
What do you mean with "by the trident"?

We already have a Trident in the game which can be used in 3D Sailing Mode to start/end storms.
Would you want Zalazar's immortality be turned off when it is used in that way?
This would mean that you can disable it during a sea battle during the sea battle.

Alternatively, we do also have Blackbeard whose immortality is turned off when attacked with a poisoned weapon like a Borgiablade.
The same could be done with Zalazar. This would mean that you can disable it only during a boarding action after the sea battle.

I'm going to have to create a new barbssa to use in this quest because the barbs of this quest have the triton sword and revenge unless they have another way to get them to have these two items without creating a new character in TempQuestEnemy
Are you adding it to the existing Jack Sparrow storyline? Or is this a new storyline? Or a sidequest available in ALL storylines?

Of course if you have it in the existing Sparrow storyline, there is a huge gap of DMC, AWE and OST that isn't accounted for.
If that were there, then by the time your story starts, Barbossa would logically already have the ship and sword. But nobody made that yet.
 
The "standard" storyline must do something along these lines. Danielle grabs an orb from the temple. When you go to sea to fight the Black Pearl, it appears as a command icon. Using it weakens the Black Pearl. Good luck figuring out how it works, though...

I think there is no Barbossa in any generic side quest.
You could define your version in the Free Play folder itself.

You need only one line of code to switch off the immortality.
Big question is when you want that line to be triggered.

The Trident code is in NK.c .
The Blackbeard code is probably somewhere in the Loc_ai folder.
The orb code is in the Standard storyline quests folder.

I do not understand how the orb works so I'm going to stay like the Backbeard system

Ah, right!
In that case, just use a different character ID.
"Hector Barbossa" instead of just "Barbossa" (or the other way around) for example.
The ID needs to be unique; everything else doesn't.
