You define "locators" on the corner points; then the game engine generates the actual sails.
They're indeed three other very similar games that can often end up getting confused.
The contents don't matter.
Check your main game folder.
The installer EXE searches for an "engine.exe" and "readme.txt" in the destination folder that you selected.

I think the model is from AoP or CoAS, but the model name was renamed for the PotC mod specifically because of its use in the Hornblower storyline.
What about AoP/SD:CoAS and PotC then? o_O
