    Constant crashes

    My card doesn't support T&L, but I was told that some Beta testers played pirates with cards not capable of hardware T&L. Disabling the shaders via config.ini (DisbaleShaders must be set to 1) should to the trick, but it doesn't.

    Could you please post exactly what kind of hardware you have at least of one of the laptops? Especially sound and graphic driver versions are interesting.

    Playing the orginal Pirates packaged with the LE

    Dosbox doesn't work with the Windows version of Pirates Gold AFAIK.

    I tend to think that the issue I described in my first posting is different from some of the issues other people described here (and maybe this is no issue at all, will try to fix it this evening). Don't want to belittle the problems you experience, of course.

    I would have to try this game on my laptop: `Fujitsu-Siemens` Amilo 7400 P4M 1,6 GHz 512 MB Intel 855GM+ICH4M (integrated graphics, 64 MB shared memory) Does this fullfil the minimum requirements (especially the onboard graphic)?
