Solved Game crashes that i had solved before, now haunt me back.

Yesterday, while on Freeplay with Norrington as Navy officer, at commodore rank, i suddenly realized that whenever i tried to click on Passangers tab on character screen, the game would crash. The only indication i had from that on the logs was 2 to 3 lines of Warning: NPCharacter -> trace node not found, so i thought some of my officers might have bugged themselves, so i started reloading previous saves (to when i was sure this problem wasn't happening), and realized it crashed when clicking on Passangers tab all the same.

After trying some workarounds i reminded myself that i had changed some Game Preferences earlier, more specifically the Crew & Officers Salary Multiplier from the values of 3 to 1. So i just wrote the values back to 3 and the crashing had vanished. I then rechecked to make sure that was the problem, and apparently that was it!

However, i still wanted to try moving those values once again, for testing purposes.
So now, on this same savegame with the problem solved, everytime i open Game Prefrences and click on the Salary Multiplier tab, it crashes.

This is no big deal for me, as after yesterday's problem, i have no intentions of moving the values of the Salary even further, just wanted to test it. That's why im posting it here, just for an heads up! :)

I annexed the logs of the latest crash on the game preferences window, if anyone is interested in digging further.

Safe Travels!

Are you sure those .log files are from after the crash occurred?
They both look surprisingly empty to me... :unsure

it can crash sometimes when applying the build settings I find, so that doesnt necessarily have to do with the passengers tab thing. if you feel like it, try and see what happens if you either rename your "options" file in the root dir of the game so that a new one is generated (the setting will reset tho), or open it and see if theres a load of extra gibberish at the end and, if so, remove it and it should work again :type1

I checked, and surprisingly they seem to be the correct ones. :(

Looks like so, theres gibberish lines by the end:

I'll just adjust the settings from a new options file
Thanks
