Since the release of PotC, it seems like a lot of people have finished that game and are asking about SeaDogs.

So I made a SeaDogs Guide with 50 pages of all the stuff that's NOT covered in the walkthroughs: What the game's about, where to find it, installing & configuring it, bugs, general strategy information, and links to the walkthroughs and fan sites.

Unfortunately, Fred is right. Hosehead's Merchantile was the victim of an attack by spammers. Probably the same ones that attacked the old Ellaybe Island site. Since moving to Hawaii, he has been off-line and so unable to fix or replace his site. Hopefully, he will be back soon- he was not quite preparred for the expense of living in paradise.

However, if you go to the new Ellaybe Island site, there are 2 boards still devoted to SeaDogs. And, if you click on my member name, you will see my website in my profile. Click on that and it will send you to "Mary Read's Reading Room". It is a unique walkthrough for SeaDogs and a short bio on my namesake.

Since most regulars and all the L.I.B. members basically "cut our teeth" on SeaDogs, we will be able to help with any questions you might have.

Yeah. Ellaybe is a nice port to pull into. And a bit of a surprise, I was just there and guess who is back after a very long absence? Hosehead.

It appears that Hosehead's Mercantile is no longer valid, a sad thing indeed, that means the links above are no longer valid. It also means that there is no proper place to download the LIB's great Sea Dogs Mod! with the game now available on GOG, more people will want it. I have the install file backed up on my old hardware, but don't have access to it at the moment, so for now use the links listed below :

Thanks to @Nightmare, Hosehead's Sea Dogs Mod Ver. 1.12 can be downloaded from here : SD112ALL.EXE

Ellaybe Island, the home of the LIB, is still up and you can find the complete release notes for version 1.12 in THIS thread on their forums.

And finally, Hosehead updated his walkthru for Sea dogs a couple of years ago and uploaded it to GameFaqs HERE!
 
A public link on our FTP would probably be a good idea, it is to big to add to the Resource section of the forum. I am not sure about the ModDB, since technically it is not related to New Horizons. :shrug
 
just letting you know i found a 12 year old file of Draksens Mod its a old mod for POTC and its before the first build was ever released.

i have the file here i think it should be added as well.

even doe it has noting to do with sea dogs :D:p

It would need Sea Dogs the game to be added on ModDB and then it can be linked properly to Sea Dogs.
The only odd thing is that it would probably end up showing under PiratesAhoy!, which isn't correct.
But we can give credit where credit is due in the description.

Anyway, I don't have time to do that anyway. :razz
 
hi. just wondering if anyone has had the time or ability to do anything with the seadogs mod. i tried using thagarr's link but it wont work for me. i keep getting a network error.
