Stolen Bride side quests

I just wanted to know if anyone can tell me if during the "Stolen Bride of Yadayada" quests, i should be looking for the all red or green sails ships or encountering all regular pirates i meet? Im hoping its the colored sails, but havent been lucky enough to confirm that yet.

Playing on "normal" ship encounters as someone on this board said is like driving through midtown traffic so you can imagine i dont want to stop and check every single pirate convoy i meet.

No quest ship has normal sails (besides Flying Dutchman I think). You can find a lot of pirate ships even with the same name but they all do not count.
Basicly the ships you must fight have orange sails, ships you must not fight have green sails, non-generic quest ship has violet sails and the Golden Fleet has... well... golden sails.
Plus some non-generic quest ships can be found only at sea map - using fast travel option will show them and if there are more then one ship you must choose the correct ship by the name.
