Firstly from our old friends at Hooked Gamers have put up their take on the latest pirate release. Generally I know Hooked have no affiliation with any developer so their review should be quiet even handed. "With all that said, Pirates of the Burning Seas is a welcome change of pace to the MMO world. This title will attract many players with diverse interests ranging from hardcore Player vs. Player, to character grinding, to playing with a live economy. There is a little something for every kind of player waiting in this swashbuckling version of 1720. With a little time and polish, the handful of minor bugs can be worked out and the full potential of this title may finally be realized." They give it 8/10 which is a fine score and it seems most reviewers are using 8 as a base for their reviews from what I have seen, read the whole review HERE The second is from Trusted Reviews (Nice title) who give it.....wait for it.......and 8/10!! They do have a very bright take on POTBS as being a breath of fresh air in a world of template MMORPG's. "The freshest, most enjoyable MMO experience since LoTRO and WoW. If you attempt to call them you will only get a machine, the company operator will not answer the phone and the mailbox has been full for the last 60 days or more.
