I'm going out on a limb here and saying that Akella are not working on this title anymore after the last two titles (Swashbucklers & AOP) were not "best sellers". If anyone has some inside news on this I would be happy to hear.

at Friday, 25 January 2008 14:38by Inzane I had some stuff I found, its on the old forum, The findings were this game has been pulled. its being retooled and renamed. It no longer has anything to do with Captain Blood. I read this on the Russian Akella boards. The fans went crazy with the direction the game was taking. it became a Prince of Persia clone.

at Friday, 25 January 2008 17:14by Keith Yeah I would agree then, Mulder, the mod from the Playlogic board wrote that they are having a big say in the direction it's going. Looks like a console platformer from now on then I guess.

Here's an interesting one for you. Captain Blood, Akella's storybook PC game based on Sabatini's novel has gone missing! There is now no mention of this either at
